Day 1 Sumela Monastery, Zigana Mountain, Karaca Cave
Depart for Sumela Monastery , visit the 4th century Sumela Monastery, clings to a sheer cliff face in a deep forest, relax beside a fast flowing stream at Altındere Valley National Park. After lunch travelling along the old Silk Road through the Zigana Mountains that takes us to Karaca Cave, considered the most beautiful in Turkey with its colors and formations. Return to Trabzon, dinner & overnight.
Day 2 Trabzon City Tour, Uzungöl
Todat we explore the highlights of Trabzon, the most attractive points : 13 th century Byzantine church St.Sophia Museum, Ataturk’s Mansion, Boztepe Hill, Ladies Bazaar, Sera Lake. After having lunch at a seaside restaurant serving famous Akcaabat meatball. In the afternoon we depart for Uzungöl, one of the most photogenic locations in the region. Sightseeing around the lake and through the valley. Dinner & overnight in Uzungöl.
Day 3 Rize, Storm Valley, Ayder
Depart for Ayder, short break at Rize for panoramic view of the city at the Botanical Garden. Drive through Firtina (Storm) Valley, enjoy the panorama with many of waterfalls, stone bridges on Fırtına Stream and lush green forests on the foothills of the magnificient Kaçkar Mountains. After having lunch at riverside restaurant, we arrive Ayder. Dinner & overnight at a wooden hotel in Ayder.
Day 4 Ayder, Zirkale, Trabzon
Today we have time to explore the beautiful Alpine Plateau Ayder. Traditionally dressed village ladies, thermal spring, waterfalls dropping down from hundreds metres and beautiful plateau houses, Zirkale Castle, Konaklar and Şenyuva villages are going to be interest of you. In the afternoon we drive back to Trabzon.
